St Kilda’s Lance Collard is being investigated for an alleged homophobic slur, just two years after copping a six-match ban.
The AFL’s Integrity Unit is set to probe an incident involving the 21-year-old Subiaco product stemming from the Saints’ VFL game against Frankston on Friday night.
Collard was suspended for six games in 2024 and was ordered to undergo a Pride in Sport education program after using homophobic slurs against VFL opponents.

By continuing you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy.“St Kilda Football Club is aware of an alleged incident involving one of its players during last night’s VFL match against Frankston,” a statement from the Saints read.
“The club takes matters of this nature extremely seriously and is working closely with the AFL Integrity Unit as it conducts its investigation into the matter.
“While this process is underway, it would be inappropriate for the club to comment further.”
Collard is also set to face scrutiny for a swinging arm that collected Jackson Voss in the face and sparked a melee between the two clubs on Friday night.
Collard has played 15 AFL games since being taken by the Saints with Pick 28 in the 2023 draft.
