Banner shared
The Eagles and Pies are running through the same banner today in solidarity for Telethon.
A number of kids and volunteers have lined up to greet the two sides onto the field.
Last one off
Bailey Williams is the last Eagle to finish the main warm-up after helping Duursma with some shots from 50 metres.
Harley is the last man on the field though as he looks up and about.
Umpire chat
The Eagles have 12-time AFL grand final umpire Matt Stevic for today’s game.
West Coast generally get the up-and-coming whistle blowers but given the talk around Harley and the way he is umpired, it’s good to see the league taking the issue seriously.
It also helps the oppo is Collingwood.
No changes
West Coast and Collingwood will go into the clash unchanged from the teams locked in on Friday.
Josh Lindsay and Tom Gross come up from the WAFL while co-captain Liam Baker returns.
Early birds
The Pies were the first players out onto the ground this afternoon to assess conditions.
They were closely followed by some eager fans before the Eagles popped their heads out.
Jack Williams was among the first players from the home side to appear.
Welcome!
After a woeful day of rain yesterday, the weather has pulled up fine and sunny for West Coast’s clash with rivals Collingwood.
Optus Stadium is also in pretty good nick after Inter Milan and Juventus played at the venue on Saturday night.
The Pies are missing a ton of players through injury so West Coast could be a sneaky chance at victory.
Stay tuned for all the latest ahead of the bounce at 2.10pm.
