Patrick Dangerfield has opened the doors to his newly renovated family home to reveal a stunning interior design refresh with the help of acclaimed stylist Julia Green.
The AFL superstar and Brownlow medallist has let the public have a small peek into his home on the Victorian coast that he shares with his high school sweetheart wife Mardi, and three kids George, Felicity and Winnifred.
Fresh from a renovation last year, the Dangerfield home, just off the Great Ocean Road, has been filled with personality, confidence and warmth — a colourful change from its once monochromatic style.

The Geelong captain said the new design of his home felt more personal and inviting.

“The courage to live a life in colour in your home is a pretty cool thing,” he said.
Green said she drew inspiration from the surrounding landscape, in particular the sweeping ocean views that can be seen through huge floor-to-ceiling windows in a living room off the kitchen — Dangerfield’s favourite part of the home.
Other highlights worth mentioning include the pastel pink petal-shaped light shades in the kitchen that hang above a pristine marble bench top.
There are pops of colour thoughtfully positioned throughout the house, which is sure to create an interesting and relaxed atmosphere.
All things bright and light are most prominent in one of the bedrooms where the red pinstripe bedhead stands out among red gingham sheets and a blue doona.

Meanwhile a study area gives off western vibes thanks to a cowboy painting and timber feature wall.
The Dangerfields purchased the Moggs Creek property for about $2m in 2016 and lodged a planning permit application to build a $1.2m residence in 2018.
The two-storey home also features a surf check tower above the roof, accessible by a spiral stair case.
