Isaac Heeney has made a major social media move as fallout from the Sydney Swans Pullman hotel scandal continues.
Sydney Swans star Isaac Heeney appears to have deleted his Instagram account as fallout from the alleged Pullman hotel sexual assault scandal continues.
The 30-year-old vice-captain had amassed more than 115,000 followers on the social media platform before his verified account seemingly disappeared on the evening of August 31.
Attempts to access Heeney’s profile on desktop returned an error message saying the page was no longer available.

“The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed.”
Those searching for the AFL star through the Instagram app were also met with a “user not found” message.
It is unclear whether Heeney has temporarily deactivated or permanently deleted the account.
The social media disappearance comes amid continuing fallout from an August 17 incident involving Heeney and four of his Sydney Swans teammates.
Heeney, James Jordon, Chad Warner, Nick Blakey and Riley Bice were stood down for the remainder of the 2026 AFL season after breaching club standards by staying out late drinking and organising exotic dancers.
The five players have also been banned from attending this year’s Brownlow Medal ceremony.
Three women have since made sexual assault allegations relating to the incident, which remain under police investigation.
No charges have been laid. The Nightly is not suggesting that any criminal offence occurred.
The Instagram accounts belonging to Jordon, Warner, Blakey and Bice remained active at the time of writing.
It is not known whether any of the players will be formally interviewed by police as investigations continue.
Heeney’s fiancée Steffie Waters also still has an active Instagram account, with photographs of the couple remaining visible — although Heeney is no longer tagged in the posts.
Her most recent post featuring the pair was uploaded on June 29 and showed a shirtless Heeney alongside a smiling Waters.
“Weekend of no football calls for some downtime at our favourite @Crownsydney,” she captioned the post.
The apparent deactivation is the latest development for Heeney as businesses and brands distance themselves from the Swans star.
His children’s book series, Little Isaac Footy Fever, published by Allen & Unwin, has been pulled from bookstores.
It was also reported last week that Heeney had been dropped as a shareholder by 5th Quarter Camps.
A range of Sydney Swans collectible bobbleheads featuring Heeney and teammate Chad Warner has also been removed from Kmart’s product line.
