West Coast Eagles young gun Reuben Ginbey charged by police with public urination at music festival

West Coast young gun Reuben Ginbey has been charged by police after urinating in public at a music festival on Saturday.

The Eagles released a club statement on Monday confirming Ginbey had also failed to comply with WA Police directions by not giving his personal details.

“The club has advised the AFL and, as the matter is now before the courts, will make no further comment at this time,” the Eagles’ statement read.

The 20-year-old will appear in court later this month.

Ginbey was spotted training with teammates, including co-captain Oscar Allen, at Mineral Resources Park on Monday.

The East Perth product has played 40 games for the Eagles across two seasons after being drafted with the club’s first pick in 2022.
