The daughter of cricket legend Shane Warne has made a heartbreaking confession about his death.

Summer Warne admitted on Sunday that she “hates that she wasn’t with” her dad in his final moments.

While taking part in a TikTok trend, Summer said she feels like she was robbed of time with her dad.

She revealed that despite Shane dying more than three years ago, every time she sees a G-wagon car she still hopes it’s her dad driving and “every time something exciting happens she wants to tell (him) all about it”.

Summer also shared a picture of herself spending time at Shane’s headstone.

The devastating social media post prompted an outpouring of love from her followers, with one person saying it “shows he wasn’t just the best spinner in the history of cricket, he was an amazing father and a brilliant man”.

“I’m so sorry that he isn’t here physically anymore you could see he loved you kids more than anything :( sending my love and prayers,” another said.

Another commented: “Your dad would be so proud of yourself and your siblings, and although he isn’t here physically, he will be forever in your heart and guiding you in life.”

Shane was found dead at a Thailand villa in 2022 after suffering a heart attack.

His friend Andrew Neophitou made the grim discovery on March 4 and performed CPR on the father-of-three for about 20 minutes.

An ambulance was called but medics couldn’t revive Warne. A postmortem ruled out foul play and determined the 52-year-old died from “natural causes”.
