A spokesperson for Kane confirmed to The Daily Mail that there was a crash but the children were not injured and were taken to hospital for a routine check-up.
Reports suggest Kane’s wife, Katie and their seven-month-old son Henry were also not involved in the incident.
“The cars had a lot of damage - all of the cars. The first thing that we were seeing was a lot of injured people from all the cars,” a local fire department chief told the BBC.
“The good news was nobody had really strong injuries, more minor injuries, like they have pain in the neck from the head up, normally typical for a car accident.
“Thank God nobody was really injured. It was really lucky for all the people.”
Ambulances and helicopters took eight people to hospital from the scene. It’s been reported they suffered minor injuries.
This season marks Kane’s first with Bayen Munich, signing a four-year deal in 2023 after leaving Tottenham.
