Macarthur FC confirm exits of Kearyn Baccus and Matthew Millar after betting scandal claims
Two players embroiled in the A-League Men betting scandal have been released by Macarthur as part of an off-season clean-out.
The Bulls announced on Monday that 32-year-old midfielder Kearyn Baccus, who fronted Campbelltown Local Court last week, had been let go following the expiry of his A-League Men contract.
Baccus is one of three Macarthur players - along with captain Ulises Davila and New Zealand international Clayton Lewis - to be charged over allegations they deliberately attempted to get themselves yellow-carded.

By continuing you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy.Davila and Lewis both remain contracted for next season, with Macarthur announcing fullback-cum-winger Matthew Millar had also been released on Monday.
The 27-year-old Millar was named in court documents when Baccus faced a magistrate, but the former player has not been arrested or charged by NSW Police.
The exits of Baccus, who is next in court on June 24, and Millar formed part of an eight-man departures list confirmed by the Bulls.
Macarthur also released Charles M’Mombwa, Daniel De Silva, Danijel Nizic, Jerry Skotadis, Jesper Webber and Tommy Smith.
“We thank these players for their contributions to the club and wish them the best for their future endeavours,” the Bulls said in a statement.
