The latest victory, her eighths from as many starts, showed comparisons to legendary Winx are on the money.

“We are looking at greatness, another chapter in this stunning career,” caller Darren Flindell said.
Trainer Chris Waller said we are witnessing something “special” with Autumn Glow.
“She’s a star, it’s as simple as that, she does it every time. There’s nothing that shows us that much at home, but that heart and determination and presence that she has is really quite special,” he told Channel 7.
“Today’s race was tricky. We could see the track was hard to get a handle on. Some horses aren’t getting through the going as well as you would like. The horses on pace were dominating the day.
“So, we knew we had to be a bit closer and they were running fast through the mid-stages and James just had to stay with them because of the way the track was playing.
“For her to come out like that over the 100m mark was pretty special.”
“I can’t explain how good she is and what makes her so special.
“That was the first time we’ve really opened her up today.”
McDonald was in awe of his four-year-old mare and believes she hadn’t yet hit her peak.
“She gives me that ooh-la-la feeling. I’d love to see her in a Cox Plate,” McDonald said.
“I don’t think we’ve seen the best version of her yet either, we’re so lucky to have her.
“She was out on her feet and she just keeps finding, she is fair dinkum.
“She knew she was in a race today and it was all due to the heavy ground, it was very testing out there for her.”
When asked if he had made comparisons to his former star Winx who famously won 33 races in a row, Waller was quick to dismiss any talk.
“No chance,” Waller said.
“I don’t care if she gets beaten, she’s a star in herself and the sequence is irrelevant.”
