Daniel Ricciardo may be watching the last two Grands Prix from the sidelines, but he is not resting on his laurels, making sure he remains in the public eye and hustling for every dollar he can.

There is speculation he could be in the frame for a spot with the newest F1 team, Cadillac, when it joins the circuit in 2026.

Regardless of that potential opportunity, the eight-time race winner has been pushing his wares – mainly clothing – wherever he can.

Earlier this month, he was in Paris spruiking his clothing brand Enchanté alongside fellow Aussie Hunter Lawrence as he raced at the Paris Supercross.

The pair posed for a happy snap to plug Enchanté and protective sports clothing Alpinestars, which boasted that “our favourite bromance is back.”

Ricciardo, who has net worth close to $150 million, started his clothing brand Ric3 in 2018 when he was at the height of his F1 fame and later rebranded it as Enchanté.

How successful Enchanté has been so far remains unknown with it being a private company, but the brand has gathered a strong following in the US, with Ricciardo featuring at a pop-up store during the Texas Grand Prix last month.

The race was the first race for Ricciardo appeared at after being axed by Red Bull following the Singapore Grand Prix in September. Enchanté held another pop-up store at the Las Vegas Grand Prix last weekend.

The West Australian has grand plans for the brand, which he says aims to reflect the easygoing lifestyle he had enjoyed in Monaco and southern France, by opening a store, including a coffee shop, in New York.

Always a savvy businessman, Ricciardo even teamed up with his former employer, Red Bull’s Visa Cash App team, which he was fired from, to give customers a 25 percent discount for using the Visa app when making Enchanté purchases at the pop-up stores at the Grands Prix.

Back on the track, motorsport legend Mario Andretti has flagged Ricciardo’s credentials as the perfect fit for their new team that is set to take a spot on the grid in 2026.

The Cadillac race team, backed by General Motors, has begun the search for drivers to step into their cars, declaring they are on the hunt for a mix of youth and experience for their inaugural season.

Andretti has laid out the criteria that will tick the boxes for potential candidates, and Ricciardo has charged to the top of the list for the American-based team.

Cadillac is looking for a US driver to spearhead its team, but an experienced driver like Ricciardo, winner of the Italian, Monaco, and Canadian Grands Prix, could be the perfect foil.

“There are more drivers available than teams at the moment,” 1978 F1 World Champion Andretti added.

“Ten teams seems a lot, but there’s a lot more drivers, a lot more talent out there. From our standpoint, I think the play at the beginning would be to have one experienced driver — nationality doesn’t matter — and then a young American talent. These are the objectives at the moment.”
