Sam Kerr pictured celebrating Mackenzie Arnold’s birthday just hours after London court appearance
WA soccer phenom Sam Kerr has been pictured celebrating Matildas star Mackenzie Arnold’s birthday just hours after fronting a London court.
The superstar is set to go on trial next year after being accused of racially aggravated harassment of a police officer.
The Matildas skipper, who plays for English giants Chelsea, appeared in court on Monday accused of using insulting, threatening or abusive words that caused alarm or distress to PC Lovell during an incident in Twickenham on January 30.

Kerr entered a not-guilty plea via video link and just hours later was out celebrating with Arnold and other Aussie teammates, including Stephanie Catley.
Kerr’s fiancé Kristie Mews was also in attendance as Arnold celebrated her 30th.
Arnold is also based in London minding goal for Women’s Super League side West Ham.
The West Australian is currently undergoing rehabilitation after rupturing her ACL in a desperate bid to be fit for Australia’s Olympic bid in Paris.
