The summer of cricket has officially arrived as Australia and India prepare for their box office battle in The West Test.
India has been the final frontier for this Australian side as they look to win the Border-Gavaskar Trophy for the first time in a decade.
India is coming off a shock home loss and will be raring to go but can Australia land the first punch on day one of their heavyweight bout?

Starc beats Paddikal again who is really struggling with the pace and movement.
Misses out on one fired down leg side.
Starc sprays one wide which is well held by Carey and Paddikal misses another freebie down the legside.
8th Over - IND 1-13
First change as Pat Cummins replaces Hazlewood.
On the money straight away as Rahul prods at one and is beaten.
Rahul is hit on the body again as he tries to work it square.
Soft hands as Rahul runs one past gully for a couple.
7th Over - IND 1-11
Peach. Starc with an unplayable ball that pitches on middle and moves away to beat the edge of Paddikal. Lucky not to nick that.
AND AGAIN! Goes for the drive this time but once more it swings away after coming in on the angle and is beaten.
High-class stuff from Starc.
6th Over - IND 1-11
Bounce but not much swing in this pitch as Hazlweood is worked to the legside for two.
Rahul sees out the rest of the over having had most of the strike in the first half hour this morning playing well inside the line of anything outside off.
5th Over - IND 1-9
Starc is looking far more dangerous this morning as he draws another play-and-miss. But Rahul has looked good so far and works the last ball through the off-side for a single.
4th Over - IND 1-8
Shot! First runs off the bat as Rahul drives Hazlewood through the covers for three.
Before that Hazlewood teased Rahul outside off but did not draw the edge.
3rd Over - IND 1-5
BIG SHOUT as Starc strikes Paddikal on the pads but was probably just swinging down leg.
Starc is sending down thunderbolts here and Paddikal plays and misses but survives.
OUT STARC STRIKES!
I said Jaiswal likes to play his shots and he flashes a big drive and Nathan McSweeney takes a catch on debut!
That will settle the nerves for him.
The extra bounce does Jaiswal as he drives on the up.
