By the time the deceased canine was discovered and police were called, Lawrence’s plane had departed the airport.

Police issued a warrant for her arrest and she was taken into custody nearly three months after the alleged offence.

According to PEOPLE, Lawrence has been charged with aggravated animal abuse which is a third-degree felony in the US.

The media outlet also revealed Lawrence has since been bailed after posting a $5,000 bond.
