Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor: Emails reveal what really happened on disgraced former prince’s final Epstein trip
He insisted the trip’s purpose was solely to cut ties with the convicted paedophile, but there was much more to his five-day New York stay.

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor always insisted his final trip to New York to see Jeffrey Epstein was for the sole purpose of cutting ties with him.
Now, emails released in the most recent onslaught of horrific Epstein files have revealed what the disgraced prince really got up to during his five-day stay.
In 2008, Epstein was jailed after he pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor for prostitution.

Now, it has been revealed that his near week-long trip was packed with lavish affairs and model company.
As part of the supposed “farewell” trip, Epstein hosted a VIP dinner at his $60 million Manhattan mansion on December 2, 2010 in the former prince’s honour.
Though Andrew had admitted to this aspect of the trip, the details were previously unknown.
The room was decked out with golden ballroom chairs and elaborate flower arrangements — partially organised by Peggy Siegal, publicist of The King’s Speech — which was produced by Harvey Weinstein.
High profile attendees lined the table, including film director Woody Allen with his wife and actress Soon Yi Previn.
Also present was stand-up comedian Chelsea Handler, well-known news presenter Katie Couric and former White House communications director George Stephanopoulos who rose to the prestigious position after directing Bill Clinton’s 1992 campaign.
An email the day after the dinner sent from Ms Siegal to Epstein said the dinner party had been “sensational”.
She also recounted a “joke” told to Andrew during the dinner”.
“My favourite line. ‘So Andrew, tell us about the wedding. What are you wearing?’ He was not sure if I was kidding or not... and I was perfectly straight with him,” her email said.
The next day on December 4, Epstein appeared to ask someone for “new” people to spend time with that evening.
The Sun has reported this email exchange was with a Russian woman called “Irina”.
She replied: “Hi Jeffrey, not yet, but I’m working on that! Do you want to see (redacted) or (redacted) again?”

Andrew and Epstein were seen at US department store Barneys shopping before they had lunch with NEXT Model management founder Faith Kates.
Later that day Epstein sent a car to pick up Latvian model Lana Zakocela from the JFK airport, telling her he’d house her for “one or two nights”.
Though part of several agencies, she is signed with NEXT in both their Miami and Milan divisions.
Other exchanges see Epstein trying to set up business meetings by boasting that Andrew was staying with him.
Andrew had always maintained that the dinner and the “stroll” in the park he was captured taking with Epstein on December 5 were the only interactions the pair had during his time in the city.
But the recently released files indicate this is not the case.
An email sees Epstein invite Valerie Post, an associate of his, to have lunch with him and Andrew on December 6, before his plane left that evening.
“Want to come for lunch 1-2. Andrew and the daughter of the Australian prime minister, or 5.30 for a repeat of yesterday.”
Though Andrew claimed December 6 was the last time he was in contact with Epstein, it appears that he sent the sex offender a Christmas message just weeks later.
In that email, he called Epstein and his associates “my US family” and said he was “looking forward to joining you all again soon”.
