Trains bound for London have been delayed after an unexploded World War Two bomb was discovered near railway tracks.

According to France’s national train operator SNCF, the trains from Gare du Nord station in Paris will be postponed until at least mid-morning.

“We invite travelers to postpone their trip,” it said.

It’s understood the bomb was discovered during some overnight works on the train tracks in the Parisian suburb of Saint-Denis.
