Gracelyn Vick death: 6-year-old found dead after going missing in front yard, third sibling to die since 2021

A heartbroken family in the US is dealing with the death of six-year-old Gracelyn Vick after she went missing while playing in the front yard of their home.
According to police, Gracelyn went out to play on Sunday April 13 at around 12pm.
Harrison County Sheriff’s Office spent hours looking for little Gracelyn, before finding her “in the vicinity” of the home and sadly pronounced dead.

“So far no one has been arrested in the case and it’s too early to determine if foul play is involved,” Harrison County Sheriff Matt Haley said.
The Biloxi Sun Herald reported that the autopsy was scheduled for Monday April 14.
Her heartbroken brother said he hasn’t slept.
“It doesn’t feel like reality. I’m just trying to make the timeline make sense,” Robert Pittman said.
While her aunt spoke on behalf of the mother, describing her niece Gracelyn as a strong-willed, smart, loving little girl who loved spending time with her mother and family on the farm.
“She was smart, and she loved to be outside taking care of the animals,” Jackie Polk said.

It’s been revealed, only a year earlier in March 2024, Gracelyn’s sister died in a car crash in Harrison Country, when she was just 13.
Aunty Jackie Polk said “it’s been a rough year” for Gracelyn’s mother.
In July 2021 Gracelyn’s brother Larry died at 17, the Biloxi Sun reported that he died of a medical condition, according to his obituary.
