Conflict has moved quickly across the Middle East after Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed during attacks launched by the US and Israel on Saturday.

“We’re knocking the crap out of them,” Mr Trump told CNN.

“I think it’s going very well. It’s very powerful. We’ve got the greatest military in the world, and we’re using it.

Mr Trump warned the population of Iran to stay safe and remove themselves from harm’s way as the military prepares for a wide-ranging assault.

“Right now we want everyone staying inside. It’s not safe out there,” Mr Trump said.

“We haven’t even started hitting them hard. The big wave hasn’t even happened. The big one is coming soon.
