The once owned home of NBA superstar Kevin Durant is up for sale with an astonishingly low price tag of $54.

Previously lived in by the two-time champion during his playing days at the Oklahoma City Thunder, the cheap listing for the 3,904 square foot townhouse would already catch eyes before the extra ripple of who used to own it.

Durant, now on the Houston Rockets, sold the three-storey property for $1.78 million back in 2017 to the current owner, with includes four bedrooms, four bathrooms, two kitchens and a two-car garage to go with a elevator to get around the residence.

Located just a five minute drive from the Thunder’s home court and hosting a luxurious interior, offers have already started to pour in well above the asking price - which is exactly what the owner expected.

Local agent Ieasha Larkpor of Thunder Team Realty said despite being listed so cheap, they have no intentions of selling the townhouse for the small price tag.

“The owner felt like a basketball enthusiast or Kevin Durant fan would be interested in owning a piece of history,” the agent told The New York Post.

“The owner is expecting to have offers around $1 million.”

With a piece of history up for sale, the current owner figured what better way to honour the 15 time All-Star then to list his old house at $35 USD ($54 AUD), as a homage to his playing number with OKC.

The four-time Olympic Gold medallist even added his own personal touches to the townhouse, with a tall shower and long bath big enough to accommodate the 6’11 star, according to Realtor.com.

Since being listed in late May, offers in the high six-figures have already been coming in, but that hasn’t stopped potential buyers from trying their luck with the listing price.

“Yes, I’ve gotten offers for $35 (USD),” Larkpor said.

“And I have to present them to the owner. But luckily, they can be weeded out fast.”
