Now, a source has revealed that Mr Mangione had an obsession with filming himself during sexual acts, claiming his videos were recorded at a high quality.

“I saw one (of the videos), and I wish I never had,” a source told Radar Online.
“And it wasn’t just some grainy, late-night mistake. It was perfect lighting, everything.
“He wanted to be watched. He got off on it.
“There are at least 20 videos of him having sex. But a lot of the girls are too afraid to come forward or tell anyone for fear they might get dragged into his case somehow.”
The source went on to detail Mr Mangione’s alleged dealing with people he was interested in, claiming the University of Pennsylvania graduate would often send unsolicited nude images to women.
“People thought he was this misunderstood genius, but no – he was filming everything like he was starring in his own private porno empire,” the source added.
“He wasn’t just reckless – he was putting on a show. And now, the show is over.”
The claims come as Mr Mangione is held in the Metropolitan Detention Centre awaiting the commencement of his trial in New York.
The prison has reportedly be inundated with letters and pictures from supporters.
Mr Mangione’s trial date over Mr Thompson’s death was scheduled for January 18, however, was delayed with a new date not yet confirmed.
He appeared in court in late February where he did not speak.
