Former First Lady Melania Trump has revealed she is ready to tell “the truth”.

Ms Trump took to X to post a black-and-white video, promoting her new book titled Melania.

The memoir promises a “powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has defined personal excellence, overcome adversity, and carved her own path.”

“Writing this memoir has been a deeply personal and reflective journey for me,” Ms Trump said.

“As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts.

“I believe it is important to share my perspective — the truth.”

Ms Trump captioned the post “My Story. My Perspective. The Truth.”

The book is set to be released on September 24, less than two months before the November Election.

The video highlighted videos and photos of Ms Trump around the world, in a variety of settings including departing Air Force 1, standing in front of the pyramids of Giza and spending time with children during humanitarian visits.

Ms Trump is traditionally a very private person. Since leaving the White House, the former First Lady has rarely been seen.

When she has been seen, it has often been without her husband, former President Donald Trump.

The memoir is said to include stories and images never before shared with the public.

It may be a first, but the memoir will not come cheap.

A standard edition will cost Australians $60. However, a signed copy is available for $110.

The price really ramps up though with the “Collectors Edition”, a signed copy printed on premium paper, costing a whopping $370 (plus shipping).

The Melania Trump website says the memoir may take 12 - 16 weeks to arrive, so if you are thinking of getting an extensive Christmas stocking filling, you might need to look elsewhere.
