The Israeli military says its forces have found and killed three armed men while searching underground infrastructure in the area around Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip.

The military said that the search had taken place on Monday and that Israeli troops were continuing operations “to eliminate terrorists operating in the area of the terror infrastructure” and to remove any threat.

The report did not say which organisation the men belonged to.
