While in Paris, the woman allegedly threw the newborn out of the second-floor window of the Ibis Style hotel.

An onlooker reportedly saw the horrific incident occur, calling emergency services after hearing loud screams.

French outlet Le Parisien reported that the baby’s umbilical cord was still attached when discovered.

The newborn was rushed to hospital but tragically died after the horrifying alleged incident.

The prosecutor’s office in Paris said: “She was also taken into custody on site. The possibility of a denial of pregnancy is being considered.”

Pregnancy denial is defined as a woman being unaware that she is pregnant or when a woman is unable to accept a pregnancy for another reason.

Local police said that the 18-year-old was taken to hospital following the alleged incident where she underwent a medical procedure.
