The 45-year-old reportedly invited two females into his guest house in the tourist city of Pattaya, Thailand.
While in that room, an argument allegedly broke out.

The two then fled the scene with almost $6000 (140,000 baht) in cash.
According to the Bangkok Post, the argument allegedly broke out when the man learned his two guests were transgender women.
After seeking medical treatment for his injuries, he reported the incident to the Pattaya City Police.
A 16-year-old and a 17-year-old were found near the scene using CCTV footage and later confessed to the crime.

They were arrested soon after and charged with armed robbery.
A pair of scissors and a pile of cash were seized as evidence.
Police have raised concerns that crimes such as these are damaging the reputation of Pattaya.
They said they are working to prevent similar incidents, despite it being difficult to monitor the inside of hotel rooms.
DFAT has been approached for comment.
