Prince Harry and Megahan Markle won’t be joining Royal Family for Christmas at Sandringham

The Sussexes are set to focus on one family member this festive season, but it’s unlikely they will do so at Sandringham.

Prince Harry's children, Archie and Lilibet, have allegedly been stalked by European paparazzi at their new school.

While they are now UK residents again, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have conceded they are unlikely to be part of the Royal Family’s traditional Christmas celebrations at Sandringham.

The pair - along with their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet - made the move back to Britain in recent months, ending the family’s six-year stint in California.

But The Sunday Times has reported that the Sussexes “know they’re not invited” to the yearly celebrations at King Charles’ sprawling royal estate in Norfolk.

Instead they have confirmed to friends that they will be looking to celebrate the festive season with Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland.

“For Thanksgiving and Christmas, they will do whatever Doria wants to do. They would love her to come over to the UK and spend it with them here, but they will be wherever she wants to be,” a friend of the Sussexes told the UK newspaper.

“They won’t be having Christmas with the Royal Family. How could that even work?

“They know it would be too awkward and too difficult. They also know they’re not going to be invited, and they’re not waiting for an invitation.”

The report also suggested that between the duchess’ work on her As Ever lifestyle business and Harry’s planning for the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham, the pair were also too occupied to take the time out for the royal celebrations.

Despite the massive move back to the UK, the former royals offered another glimpse into their family life with Meghan, 45, sharing a video of Archie and Lilibet exploring the English countryside on Sunday.

Another family montage showed the children warming their feet beside an open fire and taking a boat ride on a lake.

The Duke and Duchess are now preparing for their first joint public appearance since their reported return to Britain.

The couple are expected to visit three charities in Nottingham on Thursday, including the Community Recording Studio, where Meghan is reportedly set to take part in an acting workshop.

They will also visit the Himmah food bank alongside the Hubb Community Kitchen and Epic Partners, a charity supporting children through sport and mentoring.
