Queen Elizabeth II statue: Outrage over new sculpture that looks like Robin Williams’ character Mrs Doubtfire
A bronze sculpture of Queen Elizabeth II has triggered outrage – with some insisting it looks more like Mrs Doubtfire.
The statue by Anto Brennan depicts the late Queen in a headscarf with two Corgis standing next to a sculpture of Prince Philip, which the artist also created.

One user said the Queen looked like Robin Williams’ character in the 1993 comedy Mrs Doubtfire.
Comments on a Facebook post have been turned off after the unveiling on Saturday.
Local mayor Neil Kelly described it as a ‘beautiful statue’.
The council said it reflected the late Queen’s ‘lifelong dedication to public service’.
