Netflix has reportedly approved a third season of the Duchess of Sussex’s much-maligned series With Love, Meghan — but it won’t feature Harry in it at all.

The royal couple signed a $162 million, five year deal with Netflix for the show, but Prince Harry only featured in the first season briefly.

He turned up in the final episode for just a few minutes of airtime.

The second season of the show has already been filmed, with neither Harry nor any of the Sussexes’ children, Archie or Lilibet, making any appearance.

And according to The Sun, Netflix has already commissioned a third season focusing solely on Meghan.

The streaming giant’s co-CEO Ted Sarandos is known to be a huge fan of the former actor.

He has a weekend home near the Sussexes in Montecito, California and has reportedly referred to the Duchess as “the rock star”.

“The relationship between Netflix and Meghan goes far deeper than many people realise,” a source said.

Mr Sarandos has previously said he believed Meghan was “underestimated” in terms of her impact on culture.

The news comes days after Meghan marked the royal couple’s seventh anniversary with a social media post that came under heavy criticism for not mentioning Harry.

“Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories,” the post read.

“Thanks to all of you (whether by our side or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story — we appreciate you. Happy anniversary!”

But it didn’t take long for eagle-eyed riyal watchers to notice the glaring omission.

“Meghan Markle just wished herself a Happy Anniversary! Who does that?” one user wrote.

Another added: “She wished HERSELF a happy anniversary in her post, she is so weird and out of touch, it’s really funny at this point.”

It followed a turbulent few months for the Sussexes after Harry lost a high-profile court case in London arguing that he should have government-provided police security when he visits the UK.

After the legal loss, he shocked his estranged family — including King Charles and his brother, Prince William — by agreeing to a bombshell interview with the BBC.

During the explosive interview he discussed the court case as well as his separation from the royal family, saying he wanted to reunite with them.

“I would love reconciliation with my family, there’s no point in continuing to fight anymore,” he said during the BBC interview.

“Life is precious, I don’t know how much longer my father has, he won’t speak to me because of this security stuff.”

But royal insiders said the interview did not have the desired effect, instead further deepening the rift between Harry and Buckingham Palace.

“There is zero trust,” an insider said at the time.

“The family feels that private conversations with Harry are not possible.”
