‘Hotshot’: Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor reportedly seeing new woman and house-hunting around Europe
The disgraced former Duke of York has apparently not been spending his royal exile entirely on his own.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor reportedly has a new woman in his life despite his extremely public fall from grace which culminated in him being stripped of his royal titles and thrown out of his royal residence.
The 66-year-old former Duke of York was forced out of Royal Lodge , a 30-room mansion in Windsor Great Park, earlier this year after coming under pressure to leave from his brother, King Charles.
Following revelations about his friendship with the late paedophile and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, Andrew was moved into a more humble abode on the King’s Sandringham estate.

“He’s been seeing a (local) woman in Norfolk,” the source told NewsNation.
The public message from Buckingham Palace is that Andrew’s movements are heavily restricted in the months since he was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, but in reality the former royal’s actions looks an awful lot like a European vacation.
Royal biographer and expert on the House of York Andrew Lownie, says the disgraced Duke’s exile is a lot more luxurious than the Crown has led the public to believe.
“He still thinks he’s a hotshot businessman,” Mr Lownie told NewsNation.
“I’d heard that he’d gone to the south of France and was actually looking to buy property there — which doesn’t suggest that he’s worried about going to prison. There’s stories of him going to Switzerland, even going to the Middle East.
“He’s got his passport still. He can nip out the back door at Marsh Farm and be driven to the local airport and stuck on a private jet.”
The royal expert also claims the royal freeze-out is largely theatrical for the benefit of the public.
“It suits the purposes of the royal family to suggest that he’s under house arrest, that they’re giving him a hard time, they’re distancing themselves because of the reputational damage.
“But I think behind the scenes, it’s still a pretty cosy relationship.”
He added that it’s been “business as usual” for Andrew, who has been “smuggled out of the house” to secretly visit his royal siblings at their homes and reportedly his ‘new girlfriend’.
Mr Lownie also went on to reveal that the disgraced Prince is not on speaking terms with his youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie.
“Eugenie is still very cross with him, and he’s very cross with her,” Mr Lownie said, adding that he does not even know whether Andrew has visited Eugenie’s new baby.
