Meghan Markle meets with Anna Wintour and Baz Luhrmann at Paris Fashion Week

Meghan Markle has stunned global fashion queen Anna Wintour by appearing at Paris Fashion Week, in what is the Duchess of Sussex’s first visit to Europe in nearly two years.
The 44-year-old American-born royal exile, who resides in California, made a surprise visit to the Balenciaga runway show without husband Prince Harry, where she delighted the Vogue editor-in-chief with her dazzling all-white outfit.
Markle looked sensational in a flowy white button-down top and matching pants, completing the number by draping an elegant cape over her shoulders.

A video on X showed Markle all smiles as she asked Wintour, “How are you?”, to which she replied, “Nice to see you”, before the pair kissed each other on the cheek.
Wintour then looked at Markle’s chic outfit before saying: “Beautiful, cherie. You look amazing.”
Markle also said hello to Baz Luhrmann, while long-time friend Marcus Anderson joined her, and they took seats alongside Insecure star Tracee Ellis Ross.
Other celebrities in attendance included Anne Hathaway, Bridgerton’s Simone Ashley, musician FKA Twigs, and model Rosie Huntington-Whitely, making for a star-studded front row.

The event marked her first trip to Europe since the 2023 Invictus Games, which took place in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Before that, she attended Queen Elizabeth II’s UK funeral in 2022 alongside Prince Harry.
It is the first time the Duchess has appeared at Paris Fashion Week.
The visit to Europe comes just one month after Prince Harry had a meeting with King Charles in London, as the pair attempt to reconcile their royal rift.
The Duke of Sussex met with King Charles at a private tea during a four-day whirlwind visit on September 10, at Clarence House.
The meeting was supposed to signal a reconciliation.
