Princess Kate shares mental health update after undergoing cancer treatment

Princess Catherine has inspired supporters around the world by revealing how important her connection to nature has been while undergoing cancer treatment.
The Princess of Wales shared a three-minute short film on Instagram showing her enjoying time together in the outdoors with husband and heir to the throne, Prince William, as she spoke about how nature has improved her mental health.
“Over the past year, nature has been my sanctuary,” Kate said.

“Connecting to nature helps us to experience a deeper sense of ourselves, the world around us and each other.”
It is believed that the unseen footage of the royal couple was captured on their trip to the Isle of Mull in Scotland earlier this month to celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary.

The emotional short film titled Spring was released to mark the start of Mental Health Awareness Week.
“We are celebrating humanity’s longstanding connection to nature, and its capacity to inspire us and help us to heal and grow in mind, body and spirit.”, Kate wrote on Instagram.
The film forms part of the Princess’s newest project, the Mother Nature video series, which she described as a “tribute to the lessons we can learn from nature.”
Fans are eager to catch more behind-the-scenes glimpses of the royal family in three upcoming videos that are part of the series, set to be released throughout the year.
It’s been nearly a year since the Princess of Wales made the heartbreaking announcement that she would undergo chemotherapy, after tests following major abdominal surgery in January 2024 revealed an undisclosed form of cancer.
She completed the course of chemo in September 2024, and announced in January she was entering remission.
“Spring is a season of rebirth, of hope and new beginnings from the dark days of winter, the outside world quietly awakens with new life, and there comes a sense of optimism, anticipation and positive, hopeful change,” she said.
“Just as nature revives and renews, so too can we. Let us reconnect to nature and celebrate a new dawn within our hearts.”
