Queen Camilla: Royal pulled from official engagements due to lingering viral infection
Queen Camilla has reportedly been pulled from an official state visit as the monarch continues to battle a serious infection.
Reports of the Queen’s sickness first emerged in early November after she returned to the UK following an official visit with King Charles III to Australia and Samoa.
First, the royal missed an annual visit to the Field of Remembrance on November 7.

It was reported that Queen Camilla has contracted a viral chest infection and was staying home on doctors orders.
Some weeks later, she was absent from the annual Royal Variety Show, with Charles appearing solo.
King Charles, along with Camilla, were meant to host an official state visit on Tuesday, however, Buckingham Palace has now confirmed the Queens scheduled has been reduced, appearing at a photo opportunity before leaving for a break.
It is understood she will miss the welcome ceremony and a carriage ride.
The sick royal will also miss the Princess of Wales making her return to state visit duties for the first time since her cancer diagnosis.
Catherine is expected to meet with the Emir of Qatar and his wife Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani in London.
Together with King Charles and Prince William, the trio will take the Emir and his wife back to Buckingham palace by carriage, before enjoying a lunch and visit to the Picture Gallery exhibition in the royal residence.
