Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been taken to hospital after sustaining a head injury inside the New Jersey prison where he is serving a 50-month sentence.

The 56-year-old music mogul was reportedly transported by ambulance from FCI Fort Dix to a nearby hospital about 1am on Saturday following an incident that left him with a “non threatening head injury”.

According to TMZ, the circumstances surrounding the injury remain unclear.

Combs was reportedly conscious and able to speak when he returned to the prison before sunrise that morning.

A representative for the rapper addressed the reports in a statement to the New York Post’s Page Six.

“We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances.

“Sean’s health and wellbeing are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached out.”

Combs is behind bars after being convicted in July 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

His prison release date has reportedly been revised several times, having initially been set for June 2028.

The Bureau of Prisons is now believed to have scheduled his release for March 2, 2028.

The reported medical emergency follows fresh allegations about the rapper’s life behind bars.

NBC News recently reported claims that Combs spends thousands of dollars each month paying fellow prisoners to provide massages, prepare meals, clean and wash his clothes.

The outlet also reported allegations that the musician had access to a contraband mobile phone and alcohol smuggled into the correctional facility.

The claims have not been independently verified.
