Tailored tails at Bridgerton-themed Greenwich dog show

Canine couture was on full display at the annual Greenwich dog show in London.
This French bulldog Charlotte and schnauzer Mr Darby, below, were among the star entrants in the Best Bridgerton Lookalike category.
The Old Royal Naval College in the historic riverside village hosted the event and doubles as a set for the hit Netflix series.

The inaugural category was was a nod to the period drama which follows the lives of the eight Bridgerton siblings as they seek to navigate London during the Regency era.
Tara Veitch’s Mr Darbyshire won the best dressed pooch competition, while Charlotte, dressed in traditional wig with a pink dress and matching lead, finished second place in the Bridgerton Award.
Hundreds of owners and their pets were judged by experts in an event open to “all dogs, big and small, well-behaved or wonderfully mischievous”
Other categories included waggiest tail, handsome hound, prettiest bitch, cutest pup, glorious golden oldie and beginner-friendly best trick.
Bridgerton’s fourth series is poised to return in 2026.
