Police have charged two men after human remains were found stuffed inside a suitcase dumped in woodlands at a park in England.
The grim discovery was made at Borstal Recreation Ground in Rochester, Kent, after detectives investigating a suspected assault at a flat in south west London traced their inquiries to the scene.
At the time, dozens of children and their parents were taking part in a teddy bear hunt fundraiser for a local nursery at the park.

She said she tried to shield her niece and nephew from the gruesome scene before emergency services arrived.
“I saw the luggage before the police. I was with my niece and nephew, so I was busy keeping them from seeing it,” the woman said.
“What I saw was the suitcase covered in hundreds of flies. I actually heard the buzzing from them first. I noticed that it was a large suitcase and had a snow sledge next to it.”
Father Ivan Tsvetkov was also at the park playing with his child when he saw police descend on the area about 7.30pm.
“I can’t imagine something like this happening at the park. I play there with my child,” he told Kent Online.
“There are always loads of people there, so I am shocked by it. It’s a nice quiet area and I wouldn’t expect something like that here.”
Detectives said they had arrested two men are determining the remains belonged to a man.
The force has since laid charges against the two men, with initial investigations into the death suggesting the pair were known to the victim.
