Taylor Swift shares happy selfie with royal family to celebrate Prince William’s 42nd birthday
Queen of Pop Taylor Swift was not the only royal at her Eras Tour concert in London — with Prince William snagging an iconic selfie with the music superstar for his 42nd birthday.
The Prince and his young children took a selfie after celebrating his 42nd birthday grooving the night away at the US singer’s 3 1/2-hour show on Friday night, local time.
“Thank you @taylorswift for a great evening! #LondonTSTheErastour,” a post on the royal family’s Instagram page was captioned.

After the post left fans in awe — Swift shared a picture with the royals to her 283m followers minutes later while wishing Prince William a happy birthday.
“Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start 🇬🇧🇺🇸🤝 @princeandprincessofwales,” she said.
Her American footballer boyfriend Travis Kelce also joined in for the selfie.
As the selfies made waves around the globe, social media users were mesmerised by a short video of Prince William dancing to Swift’s hit Shake It Off inside his private suite.
The original poster of the video — TikTok user kkinldn — captioned the video: “Shake it off prince”.
“This is the best thing I’ve seen ok slay Prince William,” said one comment.
The father reportedly took all three of his children including Prince Louis, six, to a night filled with hit tunes including Cruel Summer and Blank Space.
Swift was amazed by the 89,000-strong crowd and said: “Oh my god London, look what you’ve done. What better way to spend a Friday night than in the most exhilarating city in the world.”
