Ruby Princess Cruise Ship passenger feared dead after going overboard during voyage
A major search has been launched for a passenger who is believed to have fallen overboard while travelling on a Princess Cruise ship.
The alarm was raised when the 72-year-old American man — who was travelling alone — was no where to be found when the ship docked in San Francisco after a five-day voyage around Mexico.
The cruise line told the New York Post that CCTV on the Ruby Princess Cruise Ship was reviewed and other possibilities for his disappearance have been ruled out.

“Having ruled out other possibilities, this is being treated as a man overboard incident.”
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the guest who was travelling alone,” the spokesperson added.
Local media outlets are reporting US Customs and Border Protection have taken over the investigation and have dispatched a plane to conduct an air search for the missing man.
