A former athlete who has accused Alan Jones of grabbing and kissing him told his former girlfriend and brother about the allegations 20 years apart, a court has been told.
Mr Jones is standing trial in the NSW Local Court having pleaded not guilty to 22 charges – 20 counts of indecent assault and two counts of sexual touching.

It’s been alleged that Mr Jones kissed or groped his alleged victims in incidents that are alleged to have occurred between 2003 and 2020.
A man, who can only be known as “Complainant J”, has given evidence that Mr Jones allegedly grabbed his penis while driving him to the broadcaster’s Fitzroy Falls farm in the NSW Southern Highlands.
He has also alleged that Mr Jones kissed him without his consent on four occasions.
The Crown prosecution has called several witnesses in relation to J’s allegations, and the court heard evidence from the man’s brother and then-girlfriend on Tuesday.
J’s former girlfriend’s cross-examination was cut short on Tuesday when an evacuation alarm sounded in the Downing Centre, and she has resumed with her evidence on Wednesday.
‘Touched me inappropriately’
The court was told on Tuesday that J and his then-girlfriend began dating around the same time that J alleged that Mr Jones indecently assaulted him.
The woman told the court that J told her “Alan Jones has touched me inappropriately” during a conversation in her lounge room.
The woman told the court that J was “not his normal self”, looking down and appearing embarrassed during the conversation.
She said J told her that she had to keep the allegations to herself and when she told him he should report the allegations, he replied with a “very firm no”.
The woman told the court that when J arrived at her house, he appeared like he had “seen a ghost” and she could immediately see that something was up.
‘He would grab me’
J’s brother told the court that he never saw Mr Jones act inappropriately but he was told of the allegations years later after the former radio tsar was arrested.
J’s brother told the court that following Mr Jones’ arrest in late 2024, he met with J at a local McDonald’s.
J’s brother told the court that J told him: “I’m one of the people who had come forward.”
J’s brother said he asked J why he hadn’t told him earlier, and J replied that he did not want to lose the financial support that Mr Jones was supplying at the time of the alleged incidents.
Mr Jones gave J a phone, car and an allowance that ranged from $400 to $600 per week so that he could concentrate on his sporting career, the court was told.
J’s brother said J told him of the allegations: “Nothing too bad, he didn’t try to f..k me or anything like that. He would try, he would grab me on the c..k and tried to kiss me.”
