Alan Jones trial week three: Veteran broadcaster allegedly groped man under table, court told
New evidence is set to be heard from another accuser of former king of the airwaves Alan Jones, who is facing trial on indecent assault and sexual touching charges.
A man who has accused Alan Jones of indecently assaulting him says that others witnessed the veteran broadcaster groping him under the table at a Sydney restaurant, a court has been told.
Mr Jones, 85, is standing trial in Sydney’s Downing Centre Local Court having pleaded not guilty to 20 counts of indecent assault and two counts of sexual touching.
Six male complainants have alleged that Mr Jones touched them on the penis or buttocks or kissed them without their consent.

A man, who can only be known as C, is the second alleged victim to give evidence against Mr Jones.
Mr Jones has been charged with eight counts of indecent assault relating to “C”.
C has alleged the ex-2GB talkback host grabbed him on the penis while driving, kissed him without his consent in the elevator of Mr Jones’ Circular Quay residence and work premises.
It has further been alleged that Mr Jones grabbed C on the penis while at a lunch at the Gunners Barracks, on Sydney’s north shore.
Week three of the trial begins on Monday, with C to continue giving evidence.
‘Copped a feel’
C told the court on Friday that Mr Jones placed his left hand on his leg and penis, on the outside of his clothes, during a lunch at a Mosman restaurant at the end of 2008.
He said that he was seated next to Mr Jones, who placed his hand on his leg.
“I looked down and his hand was on my penis,” C told the court on Friday,
C told the court that Mr Jones only removed his hand to eat his lunch or to gesture to others at the table.
The man said that while in the parking lot, another person who was in attendance commented to him about Mr Jones.
“(He) said to me something along the lines of ‘you copped a feel under the table, didn’t you? Did you like it?’” C told the court on Friday.
The man said he felt “deeply, deeply embarrassed” knowing that others had seen Mr Jones’ hand on his leg.
