Australian ‘looksmaxxer’ influencer Androgenic removed from Jetstar flight after cosmetic surgery in Thailand
‘You’re swelling right now, your eyes ... Your face is very ill.’
A controversial Australian influencer known in the online “looksmaxxer” community as Androgenic has been removed from a flight in Thailand.
Brisbane-based influencer Ronan Androgenic, 25, posted a video on Wednesday showing two Jetstar staff members telling him to leave the aircraft before take-off.
In the TikTok video, which has amassed more than 900,000 views, the influencer appears heavily bandaged around his jaw and chin while speaking to airline staff from his seat.

It is understood Androgenic had undergone cosmetic surgery in Thailand five days earlier.
Jetstar staff told him they were concerned he appeared drowsy and medically unwell following the procedures.
One staff member can be heard telling him: “Your face is very ill.”
Androgenic repeatedly questioned why he was being removed from the flight, insisting he was fit to travel and had been medically cleared by his doctor.
A staff member replied that he had not initially mentioned the medical clearance and appeared drowsy when the crew first approached him.
Androgenic responded that he was simply tired and trying to sleep.
“I’m trying to go to sleep on the flight, is that not f**king normal?” he said.
One crew member then warned the influencer his behaviour had become disruptive.
After expressing frustration over the decision, Androgenic again said he had provided documentation at the airport confirming he was medically cleared to fly.
“Yeah, the doctor confirmed, but we can check your condition as well,” a staff member replied.
A male flight attendant again expressed concern about his appearance.
“You’re swelling right now, your eyes. You are very like, not condition to go. Your face is totally, like, very ill,” he said.
Androgenic eventually gathered his belongings and left the aircraft.
Jetstar said its crew are trained to assess whether customers appear fit to fly at the time of boarding, and if staff are not confident a passenger is well enough to travel, they may refuse boarding.
The airline also said it does not tolerate abusive behaviour or language directed at crew under any circumstances.
