Beaumont Lamarre-Condon: Jury to visit scene of cop's alleged double murder
The jury deliberating on the case of an ex-police officer accused of killing a TV presenter and his partner will attend the crime scene where the pair died.
Jurors deciding a high-profile double murder case are set to visit the scene where a TV presenter and his flight attendant partner were allegedly killed.
Former police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon faced a court on Friday as preparation were made for his trial in September.
He has pleaded not guilty to murdering TV presenter Jesse Baird and his flight attendant partner Luke Davies at their inner-city Sydney home in February 2024.

During Friday’s directions hearing, prosecutor Brett Hatfield flagged his intention for jurors to be taken to the scene of the alleged crime for a “jury view”.

Lamarre-Condon also faces a charge of aggravated break and enter, to which he has also pleaded not guilty.
His case will return to court on August 10.
The proceedings have become one of the state’s most high-profile criminal cases in recent years, with suggestions hundreds of witnesses may be called to testify at trial.
Coleen Lamarre, the mother of Lamarre-Condon, also faced court on Friday after being granted bail on July 7.
The 63-year-old has been charged with doing an act with the intent of perverting the course of justice over allegations she attempted to persuade a witness in her son’s trial to give a false statement.
She has not yet entered a plea to the charge.

Lamarre, who also previously served the NSW Police Force, is not accused of any involvement in the deaths of Mr Baird and Mr Davies.
Her case was adjourned to September 11 at the Downing Centre Local Court.
