Hundreds of students have been evacuated from a western Sydney high school as police respond to an unfolding incident.
Police told The Nightly that an operation was launched at Cabramatta High School after reports were received about 8.30am on Monday. The circumstances surrounding the incident and what prompted the evacuation remain unclear.
Aerial footage showed hundreds of students gathered on a sports field within the school grounds, while multiple police vehicles were seen outside the campus, including officers from the Dog Squad.
