“The family continues to cope with the tragic loss of their beloved angel,” loved ones told 7NEWS.

“Her memory will live on forever in the countless moments she gifted us.

“Janaa’s smile had the power to light up every room, and her love for her parents, family, friends, and her cherished parrot (Coco) was boundless

“Our precious Janaa, you will be forever loved and remain in our hearts, always.”

Janaa had been excited about her upcoming fourth birthday, and to starting school.

Relatives added she was “the kindest, most beautiful person”.

7NEWS was told the girl’s parents thought the doors leading to pool had been locked.

Janaa’s parents want the memory of their daughter to be celebrated.

The family also want their heartbreak to be a warning to other families about pool safety.

A family spokesperson said even the most careful parents can be struck by tragedy and that children should always be supervised.

They said families should think twice about booking accommodation with pools.

They also urged parents to enroll children into swimming lessons, which Janaa had just recently started.
