An arrest warrant was then issued for two men who are believed to be known to Ms Mason, brothers Codye Thomson, 29 and Kaine Thomson-Gleeson, 32.

On Monday, Queensland Police confirmed that two men had been arrested.
“Officers from Caboolture Criminal Investigation Branch & Homicide squad, with the assistance of specialist units, have arrested 2 men in connection with the murder of a 23-year-old woman in Caboolture on December 22,” a Queensland Police spokesperson said.
“A 29-year-old Marsden man and a 32-year-old Caboolture man were arrested without incident in parkland off Civic Parade, Logan around 2pm, today January 6.”
Police have not yet charged the two men.
A GoFundMe page was set up by Ms Mason’s sister Hannah McKone in the days after the pre-Christmas tragedy, which has raised over $10,000.
“I grieve for the life she ever got to have and the experiences we won’t share,” Ms McKone said.
“This is really hard to come to terms with so close to Christmas. She has gifts wrapped under the tree she’ll never get to unwrap.”
