Collins Street Fendi store targeted in Melbourne CBD ram-raid, luxury goods stolen

A luxury brand store has been targeted in an early morning ram raid attack, with expensive designer items now in the hands of thieves.
A Fendi store in Melbourne’s high-end Collins Street precinct was ram-raided early on Tuesday, the second attack in weeks.
Two vehicles attempted to smash through the storefront around 6am, but the security shutter prevented vehicles from fully entering.

No descriptions of the getaway cars have been released yet.
The incident follows a similar heist two weeks ago, raising concerns over targeted thefts in Melbourne’s luxury retail district.
Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage as the investigation continues.
The offenders fled the scene in two vehicles last seen travelling south along St Kilda Road.
Police are looking into whether this incident is linked to others recently.

“Investigators are determining whether the burglary is linked to ram raids at several other nearby luxury stores in recent weeks, a Victoria police spokesperson said.
