Western Sydney stabbing: Penrith man fighting for life, 29-year-old woman arrested

A 47-year-old man is fighting for life after allegedly being stabbed at a property in Penrith overnight.
Emergency services rushed to a granny flat on Stafford Street just after 1.15 am on Tuesday, where they found a man with serious stab wounds.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated him at the scene before transporting him to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition, where he remains.

“A short time later, police arrested a 29-year-old woman on Woodriff Street, Penrith,” a NSW Police spokesperson said.
She has been taken to Nepean Hospital under police guard for assessment.
Investigators believe the man and woman are known to each other.A crime scene has been established and an investigation has been launched.
