Homicide squad detectives are investigating after a man died at a Frankston home on Monday.

Emergency services responded to a call on Ashleigh Street shortly after 11:30 PM, after a critically injured man went to a home.

Attempts to revive the injured man with CPR were unsuccessful and the man died at the scene.

The man is yet to be formally identified,

It is understood that the house was not the man’s home. It is unknown if the man was known to the residents of the Ashleigh Street property.

“The exact circumstances surrounding the man’s death are yet to be determined and the investigation remains ongoing.,” a Victoria Police spokesperson said on Tuesday.
