Guy Sebastian’s ex-manager Titus Day has massive legal win as all charges dropped

Prosecutors have dropped all charges against Guy Sebastian’s former manager Titus Day, ending his five-year legal fight.
Mr Day faced two trials where he battled allegations that he embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars from his former long-time client.
The Director of Public Prosecutions on Monday morning told a court that Mr Day would not face a third trial and that the remaining charges against him had been dropped.

Mr Day was in 2022 found guilty of 34 counts of embezzlement and acquitted of a further 16 embezzlement counts.
He was jailed for a maximum of four years, with a non-parole period of two-and-a-half years.
However after serving seven months, he was released from jail after his convictions were quashed by the Court of Criminal Appeal.

A retrial was also ordered.
Following a second trial in the NSW District Court earlier this year, a jury found him not guilty of four counts of embezzlement.
The jury remained deadlocked on the remaining 31 charges and the jury was subsequently discharged.
And on Monday prosecutors told the court they would not pursue a third trial.
