A 21-year-old man has been charged with murder following an alleged fatal drive-by shooting in Hampton Park, which occurred in April.

The incident took place on 27 April at around 12:30 am when emergency services were called to Bride Avenue.

They found a 30-year-old man from Cranbourne with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle.

The victim died at the scene.

The accused, a Cranbourne North resident, faces multiple charges including murder, conduct endangering life, attempted murder, and conspiracy to commit kidnap related to separate incidents.

He is scheduled to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
