Hawthorne cinema: Manhunt underway after man allegedly exposes himself to two women in bathroom

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.

A manhunt is underway after a man allegedly exposed himself to two women at a popular cinema in Melbourne.

The incidents on 8 October, between 10.20 pm and 11.00 pm, in the toilets of a cinema on Glenferrie Road in Hawthorne.

“Police have been told the man exited a cubical and exposed himself to two females during two separate incidents,” Victoria Police said.

“The man left the cinemas and was last seen on Glenferrie Rd.”

Fortunately, the women were not physically injured during the incidents.

Investigators have released video footage and images of a man they believe could assist with their inquiries.

He is described as being in his 20s or 30s, with a medium build, tanned complexion, and short dark hair.

At the time of the incidents, he was wearing a black Adidas hooded jacket or jumper with white motifs, black tracksuit pants featuring two white stripes, and black slides.

Police urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000.
