Kedron Brook Bikeway: Woman’s body discovered in Lutwyche, Brisbane on busy bike path
A woman’s body has been discovered on an inner-city bike path, with police quickly shutting the area down as an investigation is launched.
Emergency services were called to Kedron Brook Bikeway in Lutwyche at around 5.40am on Monday following reports of a body.
On arrival, police discovered a woman’s body on the bike path around 7km north of the CBD, declaring her deceased at the scene.

“A crime scene has been declared, with investigations underway to determine the circumstances of the woman’s death,” a QPS spokesperson said.
The Kedron Brook Bikeway has been closed in both directions since a member of the public made the grim early morning discovery.
Police are asking members of the public to avoid the area while investigations continue.
