In a heartbreaking statement, Luka’s aunt Erin Kester revealed the two-year-old had walked off, following his puppy to a dam before the tragic incident.

“On their adventures together Luka and Poppy discovered a dam and sadly Luka drowned and was found by police and was unresponsive.

The fundraiser is seeking support to help them cope with the financial strain and costs involved with Luka’s funeral and memorial.

Ms Kester finished with a touching tribute to her nephew: “In the arms of the angels, our beautiful little Luka Jade Edward.”
